offers several levels of Swing Lessons.

Level 1: Take any of the classes listed as Basic Swing. This is where you should start.

Level 2: Take the classes called Lindy Hop Basics. You should feel comfortable with 6 count Lead and Follow skills and ready to learn more. Beginner Lindy is taught in a series of 4 or more classes and you need to start with class number 1 and take them in order. Teaching is progressive.

Level 3: After taking a basic Lindy series you may attend the classes titled Easy Lindy. These will help you perfect the basic Lindy technique and build confidence on the dance floor with focus on a lot of practice and repetitions of easy moves.

Level 4: Classes listed as Intermediate Lindy are considered level 5. You should have completed a Beginner Lindy Series and feel confident with the basic Lindy Swing Out and Circle. Join in the Intermediate to learn more.

Also included in the Swing Era are some specialty dances which you could take lessons on at anytime.  These will be listed at:  Shag,  Balboa, or Partner Charlston.

Basic Swing Lessons & Easy Lindy at Rooters Nightclub, Waukesha EVERY MONDAY Monday Weekly Swing Dance Lessons @ Rooter's Nightclub, 901 Northview Rd. Waukesha. Located inside AMF Waukesha Lanes. Open Dance time follows the lesson. Directions: From I-94 take exit #294 (J) and go south about 1.5 mileS. Turn right onto Northview Rd. (FT). Rooter's (AMF Waukesha Lanes) is on the left about 3 blocks down.

Bring a friend or come alone! On-going weekly classes allow you to join in or drop out at your leisure. Open dance party generally follows each hour-long session.

Coolest Swing Night in town! At The Milwaukee Ale House, 233 N. Water St.The only place to be on Tuesday night. Maureen teaches basic swing every Tuesday at 8 PM.Come alone, or bring a friend.
